MAGFest 5 Panel Ideas

Fellow gamers,
Fellow rocker-outters,
Lend us your recommendations.
We want to know which panels you especially enjoyed last year, and
which ones you think we should ditch. We are doing a few new cool ones
this year (jump on IRC or send Brendan a message on AIM to hear more)
and we also have some space that can be used for smaller (non-band)
music fun.

Did you ever want to see a panel on some random thing but thought it
was a bit too farfetched? Are you interested in helping out with that
or an already-existing panel? Here’s your chance! Let us know!

Dwelling of Duels Jun 06 Results – Goemon Month

Not so many entries this time in this Goemon themed compo
(composition competition – a term generally used to describe competitions that
take place within a limited amount of time). SnappleMan takes the cake for this
month.

Here are the stats:
#1 – SnappleMan – Goemon’s Great Adventure – Devil’s Heaven
#2 (tie) – Ryan8Bit – Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES) –
Mist, the Bringer of Pain

#2 (tie) – Gwarth – Legend of the Mystical Ninja (SNES) – Gold
Coins to a Cat

#4 – Danimal Cannon – Ganbare Goemon 1 (NES) – I’ve never heard
of this game

Here are the other
entries.

Next month is Follin Month! This will be great because the top entries will
probably be featured in Larry ‘Liontamer’ Oji’s Tim Follin Project, so work
hard! (Tim Follin has a ton of games to mix from including the famous Bionic
Commando.)

Dwelling of the Duels January Winner: Luiza!

January’s DoD came to an end with Luiza as the winner. Anyone who was at MAGFest got to hear the news first hand as the result were announced live:

Holy crap Magfest was awesome. We had a listening party there and a live announcement of winners. Luiza got on stage and was cheered by the crowd. It was good.

– Crimson

December-January’s theme was RPGs and next month’s duel (February) is a free month.
