Hey, all, we’re having yet another meetup, this time in NC. We’re
meeting at the Time Out arcade at the Four Seasons mall in Greensboro,
NC, at 2:00 on Saturday, March 25. Anybody is welcome to come and chill
with a bunch of other OCR-goers (most of them unmodders, but don’t
worry — we’ll have some real people too ;))

The Jenova Project, a video game cover band focusing on the Final Fantasy series (and also containing several founding members of the Minibosses), will be playing at Modified Arts in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, February 27th. TheShizz.org and OCReMix.org
forum members are planning a get together at the show. Further details
(such as admission and directions, etc.) are available in these threads. Have fun!

After getting engaged in July, OC ReMixer Daniel “Sephfire” Floyd ties the knot with his fiancée Carrie tonight at 7PM EST.

We at ThaSauce wish Dan and his new bride a wonderful ceremony and a prosperous marriage. Congratulations can be given at the OverClocked ReMix forums.

This time’s spotlight is OUTSIDER, the website of “Tequila.”
He’s got a lot of nice, mostly guitar-based arrangements from Ragnarok Online, Tales of Phantasia, and the Final Fantasy and Seiken Densetsu series. I personally recommend…well, pretty much all of it. Just check it out!

I was pokin’ around over at AudioScrobbler/LastFM when I realized my artist profile didn’t have any images for it. I uploaded a few, but the images need at least 10 unanimous yes votes or a 75% majority before they become “official”.

Afterward, I decided to check and see if any OTHER mixers had images. I found that only DJP had an image for his profile. I think other mixers in the community should go post their images and people should vote them in =.

Popular netlabel Hellven relaunched yesterday, providing the first new
material from the music collective in 2 years. With artwork and design
handled by fellow artist Hans “hunz” van Vliet, label creator Xavier
“mv” Dang annouced Hellven’s return with the release of a group album
entitled “Debut.”
The full-length album includes most of the artists comprising Hellven’s
fifth incarnation, featuring virt, hunz, epoq, rs3, funkymuskrat,
xerxes & mv.

Comments and feedback can be left at the site’s forums.
Keep an eye on Hellven in the coming days for a full statement from mv
on the return of Hellven, as well as what’s in store for the site and its artists in the
near-future.
