Internet Promo Machine: Sponsor Adam WarRock’s Upcoming Fall Tour

Adam WarRock, one of our favorite hip hop artists who brings back the ‘cool in all things nerd and pop culture, needs your help:

I am in the process of booking a pretty baller ass Fall tour with some friends of mine. We’ve been talking with some small sponsors for the costs of the tour (so I can potentially bring some international friends with me), so if you are a small website, business, or whatever, and are interested in being promoted by our tour INTERNET PROMO MACHINE, please contact me at adamwarrockmixtape[at]gmail.com. We have very affordable rates, and you get to have access to our sweaty, rabid audiences.

Doing it like this allows us to build business relationships, as well as avoid daily tweets about kickstarters or basically begging you for money constantly. That sucks. You don’t want that, right? You just want us to bring the THUNDER, don’t you?!?!

WarRock has scheduled to tour various major cities on the East Coast, including New York, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and much more. While we can attest to WarRock’s talent as an emcee, we would like to extend his invitation to those who would be interested in sponsoring the tour through e-mail. For more information regarding press releases and to preview his music, visit Adam WarRock’s official website here.

Adam WarRock’s Ghostal EP Out Now

Comic book/hip hop extraordinaire Adam WarRock has recently released Ghostal EP as a homage to Adult Swim, dedicated to all things Space Ghost:

Hey there. Adam WarRock here, again. The guy that made that Browncoats Mixtape thing, or the Parks & Rec EP thing, or I dunno, that guy who hates mayonnaise. I just finished a month and a half straight of traveling, and I got on this kick of watching old Adult Swim shows to fall asleep, when I was in hotel rooms or curled up on someone’s couch or sleeping in a dumpster (finding dumpsters near AC adapters…. The worst). It’s funny, because I think ever since Adult Swim was ubiquitous in the geeky scene, it’s always been a weird comfort in every phase of my life, from college, to grad school, to work, and now, to touring as a musician. So I just spun a few tracks off of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, and wanted to make a little homage to Williams Street, for being that kind of comfort. Thanks guys. You rock.

We were pretty worried that his recent return from tour would hinder this release from being as rad as the recent You Dare Call That Thing Human?!? album release, but we have to say… WarRock absolutely kills it once more with his seamless lyricism, especially punctuated by insane, head-bobbin’ tracks like “Full Brak” and “Williams St.”. If you haven’t had the pleasure of listening to any of the amazing production quality that this awesome emcee is known for, we suggest downloading Ghostal EP immediately (it’s free!).

The VS Tour w/ Mega Ran, Willie Evans Jr, Adam WarRock, & DJ DN³

Mega Ran and his cohorts are hitting the road… and your face! In his most recent musical stint, the Capcom-licensed rapper Mega Ran will be embarking on the VS Tour  throughout the United States, beginning in Arizona and concluding the tour with a final bang at SXSW Music, one of the biggest music festivals in the country with more than 2,000 performers. With big names like Adam Warrock, Willie Evans Jr., and DJ DN³ on deck for their first ‘interactive tour’, we guarantee that you’ll be shuffling to what could possibly be one of the best live performances of the year. Oh, and we forgot to mention that Mega Ran plans to hold small fighting game tournaments wherever possible. Who else do you know that does that?!

While the tour is scheduled for this coming Spring, Mega Ran has started a funding campaign with the same name to help raise money for support. With a goal of $2500 in mind and the campaign ending on Tuesday, March 13th, Mega Ran and his dudes have set up sweet packages as incentives for you to help out: $5 will get you audio of the project itself, $10 a physical copy of the VS Project, $15 an exclusive poster and EP, and so on.  The list of locations and dates for the VS Tour is also located below. If interested, please help support Mega Ran’s endeavors into the touring world… We promise that you won’t be disappointed.

Quick Look: Mega Ran’s “Pump It Up” feat. Adam WarRock

Although we’ve gushed about his unadulterated expertise in the past, we find it absolutely necessary to show to the world how amazing Mega Ran’s new video is.  Joining nerdcore giants MC Chris and MC Lars this fall for the Race Wars Tour, rap virtuoso Mega Ran has just released a new video with none other than the incredibly talented Adam WarRock, this year’s breakthrough artist at Nerdapalooza. Along with its scandalously catchy beats, “Pump It Up” features the best of both performers — Mega Ran brings his own A-game with superb fluidity, backed by WarRock’s assertive yet unforgettable rhymes.
